Help with Beach Wedding

Help, I am trying to help my daughter plan a wedding she is wanting to get married on the beach next May,2011. She wants a simple ceromony on the beach and to use unity sand, guest can stand. Then a really nice reception, her soon to be husv=band wants to Party with some food and beer, We are on a small budget I am helping but they are mainly covering every thing. I would like some information on what it cost to do the wedding, and then suggustions on the reception. I have thought about Restarunts. I will be making her flowers but i would like to know about someone who could make a cake for 100 people cheap. Thank you

we got married at mcleans park in north myrtle beach in the botanical section free! we held our reception at the tidewater clubhouse free because we knew someone that lived back there. as long as you have their permission you can use their clubhouse. we had the food catered...complete waste of money! we were cheated out of food! i would advise having someone there to pay attention what is being dropped off. so that it matches the amount agreed upon. i am still upset about that. our cake was huge and still had leftovers...it cost 300 dollars though, but i have heard awesome things about the grocery store Bi-Lo doing cheap cakes or even Wal Mart doing good cakes! and my friend got his notary license so he married us!
