Hi!
We got married at Christos last November. As far as menu items, you really can't go wrong with the appetizers! They are amazing, and really the talk of the night. We did the filet mignon and chicken francaise. They were both decent. Everybody loved the strawberries and whipped cream, as well. Nice complement to the cake. We used PJ the DJ for our wedding. He was fantastic; it helped that he was a friend of ours, so he knew us so well, but I think he does a great job, anyway :). We used a family friend for the florist, except the centerpieces. Since those were provided by Christos, but we wanted something different than the standard centerpiece, we worked with their florist on the centerpieces. They were good, as well. My biggest piece of advice is not to worry about any of the details, but Chris is amazing, and will think of everything. He is a wonderful host, and will help in anyway he can to make the night memorable! He even offered to drive us back to our hotel at the end of the night! If you have any questions, let me know. Awesome advise! Thanks so much for responding! We booked the DJ that Chris recommended highly(Matt Wood)- would be curious to hear from any bride who also booked him as I am unfamiliar with his work:) I know PJ the DJ! He used to DJ at the Barking Frog in Beacon back in the day when I went there:) I have heard the appetizers are awesome! I was already sold on picking the filet.. was a toss up on the chicken tho, guess I will ask Chris what he suggests:) I think we may go with the stuffed chicken... I am worried about the florist - I booked his florist (murphys)and am not sure of their work... I saw the standard centerpieces there at CHristos one day and wasn't real impressed... I have emailed them to see if they will allow a sneak peak or at least some samples... I may just change the florist altogether cause its making me nervous... I have all confidence in Chris - he has been awesome thus far! We are having the ceremony there as well, but we cant get there for the rehearsal b/c of timing and the busyness of that weekend... I will definitely try not to fuss about the small stuff and keep in mind the most important thing - that at the end of the day I will be married! Regardless of how the enterpieces look and how good the music is;) Thanks so much!!!
