Outdoor ceremony/ reception site quest

I am looking for a great place to have my wedding and reception. I really want to be outside, preferably in a tent for both. I live in Columbus, but want to be back close to home, either in or around Cleveland. I'm also trying not to spend an arm and a leg! Any suggestions?

Lakeview Park in Lorain is a beautiful place, there is a beach a rose garden and a gazebo. They have the rose cafe, or you could do a picnic type meal or pig roast.I'm sure if you search it out online there will be pictures. www.delectabledelightsbydebbie.com is a near by cake decorator also.

I know you want a tent, but that can be REALLY expensive, bc you have to rent EVERYTHING (a dance floor, lighting, a bathroom, plates, tables, chairs, essentially a make shift kitchen for warm food etc etc.) Maybe you would consider a location that has amazing food, and an outdoor feel without all the hassle. The 100th Bomb group has fabulous views of the airport and its not too expensive.

I am having the ceremony and reception at Punderson State park. They have a hotel on site and are really reasonable in price. They have rooms for a smaller crowd (100 or so) but also, very flexible with other options. We have a tent for the reception outside and Punderson can provide the table and plates, etc. so you don't have the additional expense of renting it. Just a suggestion.

we got married in Olmsted Falls at the Charles A. Harding Bridge. It's right by the library. It is free and we just used our reception hall as a weather back-up. It worked out great!
