I can't afford bying a new wedding dress we have a very limited budget and i feel guilty spending it all or most of it all on the wedding dress.

Does anyone know of a place where i can rent or buy a used wedding dress that is still pretty?

Are you looking for traditional? I found a lovely, casual dress at Anthropologie for around $200.

Hello!
I am trying to really watch my budget too, and I just got a GORGEOUS GORGEOUS gown at David's Bridal. They have great sales. Mine was one of the more expensive sale items at 449 dollars, which is still pretty good for a dress. I suggest them if you are tight :-) Good luck!

You can also try looking at preownedweddingdress.com, oncewed.com, or recycledbride.com. These are websites where brides can sell their dresses (some are even new and have never been worn!) Otherwise yea, I would check David's Bridal. Best of luck!

my daughter found her wedding dress at a bridal consignment/resale shop. It had been $1700 originally, worn for a debutante ball only. She paid $53 and added some iridescent sequins to the hem.

Check with the Susan G. Kolman Cancer society as they travel around with wedding dresses that have been donated. (My neice bought hers from them and paid a very small amount for a beautiful dress.)

Don't rule out sample sales. Depending on when your wedding is, check with different bridal shops to find out when they will be doing sample sales.

Check at Muriel's downtown in LoDo. Don't rule out finding a dress on the rack at a department store. With prom season, there are many of this type of dress available as well.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

They just opened a new Nordstrom Rack a month or two ago on Colorado and Florida. Some of the formal gowns there are beautiful as wedding gowns and at great prices (many under $100). Friends and family could get you gift cards to the store to help out and make things a bit more affordable. Otherwise, check Craigslist. You may just find your diamond in the rough! Good luck and congrats!

There is a bridal consignment shop at 40th and Tennyson called "The Altar Consignments. Here's their website: http://thealtarbridalconsignment.com/

I got a great deal there for my veil - I paid $38 for basically the same veil that was $250 at the boutique where I bought my dress.
The staff was super friendly too!
