< back to topic list >looking for pictures of beach ceremonies
Hello, I'm looking for pictures of beach weddings that The Stateroom have put together. I'm trying to get an idea about decor for the ceremony, which will be on the beach and for the reception. Any pictures that anyone can send me will be great. If you can't post them here please send them to my e-mail at [email protected] Thanks!

Using the sand and shells, or organic materials themselves to do simple decorations...you'll need some friend's help that's not your bridesmaids to do this...and it's okay in the pickiest of beach municipalities :)
A smaller heart works also. Many couples smooth out the sand with a rake first. Takes time and labor...

Some of the bamboo arches are the nicest setups I've seen...lets see if i have another close up of it. This one really had some presence, but was from a florist in Ocean City, Smaller bamboo made into a full 3 dimenstional gazebo arch is good for a beach wedding also. These are an alternative to the white arches more often seen.
For flowers, iron plant hooks with a lantern type item on the end are nice on the sandy aisle. Florists might have pictures of these. Large flower arrangements might blow over, but you can attach some color to your arch if you use one.
