Hi All,

I'm trying to find a florist who will create my bouquets and deliver them on my wedding day (and who isn't charging ridiculous prices!). A florist in Richmond would be ideal, but I'm sure that most florists will deliver anywhere. Any ideas would be helpful!! Thanks so much!

Hi
We had the Super Grocer inSteveston on # 1 road. The lady Christina that works there was great. The flowers were so beautiful and price was great.

For Reception day: Went with "Along Came Amy Floral Design" (http://www.alongcameamy.com/), she delivered to Richmond, based out of Burnaby. Went with her because I really wanted peonies & everyone else said "no guarantee". She was less than budget (budgeted $500) for:
1 bridal bouquet
3 bmaids (ea maid had diff colours/flowers, this could've been less exp if all were same i think - not sure)
7 boutonnieres (1 groom white orchid, BM had blue fox, Gmen1 yellow tulip & Gmen2 green kermit button mum. They matched their bmaid - parents had jade roses)
1 wrist corsage (jade roses)
+ delivery
(reception day flowers on the right side of the collage)

For traditional Hindu wedding day - my MOH ordered roses from Costco, couldn't afford spending another $500 on flowers, so for $100 & a "little help from my friends". Out of 4 doz cream roses, 4 doz jade roses & 2 doz red roses....the 4 of us in total made:
2 bouquets (1 bride w/2 doz roses, 1 bmaid w/1.5 doz)
30 cream boutonieres (grooms side)
30 jade boutonieres (bride's side)
6 - 2 rose boutonieres (for groom & our parents)
left over/broken roses - flower girl baskets
(wedding day flowers are pictured on left of collage)

I only cared that the Costco flowers lasted the one day as they get destroyed anyways. The boutonieres were quite bloomed & really full, but the bouquets were perfect. All flowers made it thru. If i did it again, would still make the bouquets but maybe would have the boutonnieres made by florist. Roses were picked up the afternoon before wedding, made everything in the afternoon & put into coolers/fridges & spritzed throughout night.

Costco does offer a 2-doz rose bridal bouquet for $60 or bouquet pkgss.

There were a couple other Vancouver companies that I had found afterwards that I thought were really quite affordable & they made pkgs...I just can't recall the name...

Budget Blooms or something...will respond again if I can find their email.
