I am looking for a ceremony site. My reception is at the Columbus Athenaeum.... so I would prefer the ceremony to be downtown. I would like a church but I feel like I am running out of options. I am not catholic and we defiantly need a/c (it's a July wedding) it doesn't have to be at a church... really any suggestions would be great?? Just so you have an idea.. i had a church booked that is now selling to another congregation that does not allow non member wedding so they gave me my deposit back and basically said sorry.. good luck finding something else!! I feel like I have contacted most churches and they either aren't doing wedding July 3rd because of the holiday... they don't allow nonmember weddings... no a/c...etc. I NEED HELP!!

There is a room in the Athenaeum i think its really cute. It looks like a rustic chapel, maybe you could rent that as well.

You can try for one of the Dept of Rec's parks... http://www.columbusrecparks.com/rentals/Wedding%20Rentals/index.asp

If you do choose somewhere outdoors and downtown... I would make sure that the site will be cleaned if they are having Red White and Boom viewing there the night before (July 2 until midnight).
