I HIGHLY recommend James McVey. He is based in San Francisco but doesn't charge extra for travel to Napa/Sonoma. I found him to be very reasonably priced and his photos are beautiful - the perfect combination of posed and candid shots, and he captured many great moments at our wedding. We got married in Napa, actullay St. Helena at Rutherford Hill Winery in May.I would highly recommend Grover Photography http://www.groverstyle.com/ they are a husband and wife team and are so talented! They sepnt the entire weekend with us and photographed candid shots of all our wedding festivities, welcome dinner set-up,welcome dinner, golf, swimming and the actual wedding/party. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! They also were the most resonably priced but were the most talented of all the photographers we interviewed. We just got married last month in Napa at The Carneros Inn and we used Claire Lewis Photography. She is absolutely wonderful and we have amazing photos to share with our family and friends. She was completely flexible with everything we wanted to do, including coming with us to a special spot on the back roads of Carneros to get some fun shots. She blended in perfectly to the event and did not stand out or get in the way and her personality was perfect for the bride who wants low key and no stress. I highly recommend her for any event. She is also based in San Francisco, but traveled to Napa and was reasonably priced. She is quick too - we already have a website of our photos from a few weeks ago.
