My fiance and I were hoping for an outdoor wedding at the end of May. We considered Farish, but the site manager said the past few years their wedding hill has had snow on it (i'm basically at the point of telling everyone to just bring some boots and let's go for it..) It would be for about 150 people, and I was really hoping for something meadow-like with wildflowers and a nice view of the moutains. Does anyone know anywere around the Springs like that?
Thanks in advance!

Personally, I love Garden of the God's Club. It's not very "meadow-like" but it has an incredible view of Garden of the God's and Pike's Peak, a reflecting pool, and it truly is breath-taking.
Of course, I'm partial, because we got married there! :)
Hope you find a great place.

My husband and I got married @ Mystic Meadows event center. It was on October 10th of this year and of course that was the first snow of the year. I freaked out of course but in the end It was so beautiful there all covered in snow.
But May? Yeah that should be beautiful. It has a meadow and so much land, the property is on 11 acres and it's right in the foot hills. To me I wanted the same thing, outdoor wedding, beautiful land, and the mountains of course.
Good Luck, I hope you enjoy your wedding.

We got married at Garden of the Gods High Point Area on a rocky out-cropping along a trail. It is a standing-only place, not flat enough to have a bunch of chairs (and chairs are not allowed technically, though we brought some for the parents and elders). It was absolutely gorgeous and we have had so many people tell us what an awesome location it was. You can see pics on my website:

I have also been looking for an outside wedding for the summer. I just looked at a place called Mystic Meadows Event Center off Hwy 115. It is a pretty nice facility on 10 acres of land. There is a gazebo for an outside ceremony along with other locations around the property. You should take a look! Nicole is the name of the lady who showed me around....very nice!

Hi there and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I am assuming that you have already found your perfect outdoor meadow and mountain venue(since you said your wedding is in May and I am writting in April), but just incase you haven't you should look into Loriendell in Divide. It is only about 30 min. from the Springs and is nestled in a stunning aspen forest but also has a meadow area that has majestic veiws of the mountain range. It is owned by a wonderful couple and only host a handful of weddings each year. I have a few images on my website of this location, but feel free to contact me and I can send more. Congrats again!!

Here is a great blog from a couple that visited many different venues in the Austin area. They even created a top ten list! The couple ultimately chose Memory Lane Event Center as their favorite. Hope this helps.
