Hi All,
My guy and I are looking for an indoor wedding ceremony/reception place in the city (Brookyn, Queens, Manhattan) with cool views of any of the bridges or skyline. We're trying to keep it to about $100 per person (including tax and tip) but we're flexible on the day (Thursday night? Saturday night? Sunday brunch? Sunday night?) in April or May. Just trying to keep costs low but hoping to include our many friends (150 people). I'd welcome anyone's thoughts!

Try the Ravel Hotel's rooftop penthouse in Long Island City, Queens. Beautiful views, not sure of the price, but it is probably in the range you are looking for.
I HIGHLY recommend Bubby's in DUMBO. Depending on which food and alcohol option you choose, you should be able to make the cost work. We got married there a few months ago & the service was INCREDIBLE. I got sooo many compliments on the service. They are very professional. The view is amazing too. Give JoJo a call. http://bubbys.com/

I agree with Kelly - Bubby's is a great location, fabulous views, and within your budget range. I shot a wedding there and would love to show you the album if you'd like. That will may give you some ideas on what you'd like for your event. Check me out at www.NYPortraits.com and give me a call. My wife and I love the place so much we recommended it to friend's for their daughter's Sweet 16 as well.
Have a great wedding day!

I agree that the Ravel in Long Island City would be fabulous. Also, check out The Foundry in Long Island City. The Queensboro Bridge overlooks it and the venue itself is super-cool.
Hi Jen,
Actually there is a wonderful place called Giando's on the Water www.giandoonthewater.com in Williamsburg. Steven and I had our engagement party there in February and everyone is still talking about Giando's. They have three floors, two party rooms that include outdoors and a dinning room and your wedding will feel like it is the only party going on at that time. Joe is the coordinator he works with you and your budget, the food and the service is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this place, it is by Peter Luger's, which is a few blocks from the Williamsburg Bridge, which makes it easily accessible to everyone. They have parking. The view is wonderful...you get all three bridges and the NY skyline. I have pictures up on our websiteat: janetandsteven.com. I really recommend Giando's. Janet
We're getting married at the Manhattan Penthouse. It's close to Union Square. We're having our wedding and reception in one place. They have a separate, large, bar/cocktail area so the main room can be switched during the cocktail hour.
They are a catering company so you don't have to pay for outside vendors or tables/chairs to come in.
They gave us an amazing deal.
I noticed someone mentioned The Foundry in LIC. That place is extremely expensive to rent and the it would be about $200-$250/person for food and drinks. At the Manhattan Penthouse, we're paying $95/person for food and beverage (not including tax and tip).
The place has amazing views since the windows wrap around the space.
One other place is called Ramscale Loft. It's in the West Village and has amazing views. It's not very large - but has a huge outdoor patio. We went to a wedding there that had 50 people. But I've heard they can fit 100. I personally thin they shouldn't go over 70.
Best of luck.
The seaman's institute by the Brooklyn bridge was a nice venue. I believe they are within your budget.
Thank you all SO much! These are incredibly helpful suggestions! I'm going to look into all of these! Thank you thank you!! :-)
