What your saying is true, but why are you on a message board for brides labeled "what are your wedding colors?" I don't mean to be condescending but this is a forum for brides to discuss their wedding colors. lol By the way, if anyone is doing a pink and brown, or a pink and gold wedding color scheme, please let me know any ideas for their wedding day, especially flower choice, bridesmaid dress colors, etc. Thank you for the help!! No wedding planner here!

I am having a man-of-honour,so I can't weigh in on a colour for bridesmaids....but I can tell ya that dark pink is a colour in my wedding, and as for flowers that colour, I have decided on pink Nerine Lilies. The flowers in my arm bouquet are Blue delphinium, Yoko Ono mums, Yelloween lilies, blue moon carnations, mango calla lilies and a few brown hypernicum berry sprays that are going to be painted in a copper colour. The tie will be copper, no bow, just tails. I thought that would be pretty for a fall wedding. My cake topper is also a small grouping of flowers.

our wedding colors are red,white and silver.

Our colors were navy blue and lilac. My bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses and lilac wraps.

Our colours were plum and platinum. It was very royal and gorgeous and those two colours really offset eachother perfectly. After we had got the bridesmaids dresses (in plum) and paid the decorator I had a horrible moment of , oh , my , god. i want totally different colours! I had seen something online, chocolate brown and pale pink and it looked so pretty together I wanted to change everything. The fiance was not too happy, considering we had already paid for a LOT of plum/platinum stuff! He told me to wait a week and I would realize that I still wanted my purple wedding. I am so glad I didn't change anything! it turned out GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY COLORS WERE CHOCOLATE BROWN AND FUSCIA

My Mr. to be is a Big Lions (football) fan and the team colors are Honolulu Blue, Silver, Black, and White. We'll marry in March then return home to host a reception most likely in May. I'm trying hard to go with these colors, but can't see how they work for a beautiful wedding reception.

He didn't make this theme/color request, but I thought I'd surprise him by doing this. Any suggestion, links, direction would be GREATLY appreciated.

Mez - Maybe have a traditional wedding in March with the colors that you want and then when you have the reception/party in May you can have the grooms cake and centerpieces in the Lions colors. Maybe even make the grooms cake a Lion's cake or give out favors (M&M's - http://www.mymms.com/customprint/) that are the Lions colors or something to do with the Lions.
