We would love to know what your colors are for your wedding. Mine were brown, green, and cream/white for the reception and all white for the ceremony. Check out my photo.

DanaK - I love those colors. Perfect for a fall wedding in New Jersey. (I grew up in Southern NJ, our first dance song was Bruce Springsteen's Jersey Girl)
What are you doing for flowers?
My colors will be Colbalt blue and silver. I am looking forward to this and right now it just cant come fast enough. But i do realize that it will be here too quick. (Double Standard)
My flowers are green and white, with pods being used to bring in the brown. The picture is from our flower trial. I can't wait.

I am thinking of using a blue (not sure which color blue) and silver for my wedding colors. Is there any way I can see some of your pictures to see how your colros lookes together

DanaK,
Did you upload a photo? I don't see it. Can you try again?
This was my bouquet. White Calla lilies.
Thanks,
Alison
My colors will be lime green and aqua blue. I've always loved the bright green color, even though some people I know don't think it will work out. My wedding isn't until this coming summer, but because we're having it in my hometown (700ish) miles north, I've got most of the planning done already. The 'maids will wear a beautiful aqua colored dress, and the junior 'maids are having handmade dresses because I couldn't find the right color green in premade ones. The bouquets will have the bright Gerber Daisies ... you know the purple, orange, the red/pink. My sister and my MOH both think it's going to turn out great!
beka.blazier, In my opion and much like the MOH keeps reminding me that only thing that really matters should be that fact that you are getting married to your bestfriend, your soulmate, your partner for life. That is the real reason for a wedding is to share the joy that the two of you are sharing with friends and family. So it don't matter how the colors should blend together. Just remember, this is the day the two of you will begin the rest of your lives together.

I agree with what you are saying drowsister, but at the same time, I want to make sure I look beautiful, and everyone at my wedding has a great time, good food, and lot's of fun. You are inviting these people to your wedding to help you celebrate this special day, why not make it beautiful as well??? I mean, as long as it's in your budget lol.
I can't possibly begin to count how many weddings and wedding receptions I have been to. I also can't recall a single colour or theme or scheme of any of them. But the Bride can! My brother and sister in law were married in a court house (no "colours" there) and had a very simple, small wedding. They've been married for over 20 years now. It's best to remember that you are planning a marriage, not a "reception", if you get my meaning. Yes, it should be a wonderful day, beautiful and happy....and it's your attitude and the smiles that will be remembered, not the colour of your tablecloths or what your toasting flutes looked like. Have fun with it and relax!
I am in full agreance with you, however, that main thing is that you do just that have the fun with your wedding and your guests. I can say from my own experience, that you don't have to worry if you're a beautiful bride. We all have the beauty inside of us, and it will come through without you having to worry about it. Believe me it will show through. I have tryed on my gown once, and even without the makeup and hair being done, my family and friends have told me that I looked beautiful in it. I just hope that you will take this and just have fun, oh and by the way.......breath and have fun.
