Hi! we are getting hitched at The Addison in Boca in March. We are having troubles finding a fun small band to play at the reception. i also need an acoustic guitarist to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Any suggestions?

Hi Claire,
I don't know about a small band for the reception -- we had a rather large one. But we used a solo guitarist for our ceremony and cocktail hour and loved him. His name is Bob Folse, and he specializes in Spanish guitar. Here's his Web site: http://www.bobfolse.com/index.html. Good luck, and best wishes!
Hey Claire!
We used the same person for all of our music, Mike of DJ Innovations. He is wonderful and plays beautiful guitar in just about any style that you could want. He tailored our music to fit us for the reception and then chose the tunes that fit the mood of the guests. Best part is that the price is very reasonable! If he does not meet your needs or personality I'm willing to bet that he will know someone who will be able to work for you. The company is listed on wedding mapper under DJ's. Good luck, this was the hardest part of our ceremony.
I was also going to nominate DJ Innovations-- I am planning to use him for my May 2010 wedding. My initial conversation with him was really good, but I haven't seen him in action (he is sending me a DVD of a party he did, since I am in NY). He can also provide you with a band, steel drums, and as previously mentioned he plays classical guitar.
