In addition to planning my own upcoming wedding, I'm working on a story for the Chicago Tribune about Do-It-Yourself wedding projects and ideas. If you are doing anything for your wedding yourself (from making your own veil to assembling your own favors or anything else you can think of) please e-mail me at [email protected] Any ideas are welcome.
I am not done planning my wedding, but I did/am planning to do DIY invitations, unity candle, table numbers, escort cards, sweets table, favors, programs, slideshow, etc. I got much of my inspiration from Paper-Source or TheKnot.com.
I am planning some DIY wedding projects. We did do our save-the-dates, maps, meal response cards all ourselves and are also planning on doing the table numbers, escort cards, menus, favors, and programs ourselves. You can email me at [email protected].
We had DIY unique Mardi Gras and Norwegian favors, pew decorations, invitations and programs, table numbers, and authentic Norwegian wedding cakes. A clash of cultures with Norwegian church wedding and Mardi Gras reception. Couldn't have been more fun.
I did a lot of DIY stuff also - table signs, programs, menu cards, place cards, calvin & hobbes comic strips for each table, gift bags for the hotel, and some other little stuff. you can e-mail me at [email protected] - Amy
I'm DIYing everything I possibly can. I just may be DIYing my way to complete insanity. I even got my FH into the DIY mindset; he made our own "wedsite": www.pielcafe.com/hastalamuerte . He'll be launching it soon. Please feel free to contact me: [email protected].
