It will depend on how many people (cars) you will have and if you want it private or out in public, how much stuff you will be bringing out to the location, and time of day (what's the tide doing?) The end of Sullivan's closest to Fort Moultrie has a lot of sand regardless of tide and there is parking available. Also Isle of Palms near breach inlet (the bridge connecting Sullivans and Isle of Palms) has sand all day and offers some extra parking. If you aren't familiar with the area be aware that sandspurs will be on the ground in October and everyone should wear shoes until down to the beach.
Good luck and congratulations. Linda, Mount Pleasant, SC
