First of all congratulations! A wedding is a wonderful thing, even if you don't know where to start planning :)
You have probably found lots of information online which is a great place to start. I just wanted to remind you that your wedding is about YOU and your partner; so, while there are lots of great resources on proper etiquette and how-tos, really in the end each choice is yours and your wedding could look like just the 2 of you holding hands in a field or dozens of friends, family and acquaintances. What are your deepest desires for the day, and what are your finances? Somewhere in the middle you will start to gain a vision of what you can do for your wedding.
Finally I would recommend a planner to help you with all of this. It would be money really well spent especially if you are working full time and not really into event planning yourself. ModeFunction Event Design are great if they will travel to Collingwood http://www.modefunction.com/ and Bryn Allison of An Artistic Affair is wonderful too http://www.anartisticaffair.com/home.html Both are Toronto-Muskoka based so they may be able to help.
In the end, your wedding is something you should enjoy, not stress over. All the best!
