Well First things first if you are considering the Rehoboth Beach CC as a venue, you would need to get a sponsor if you do not belong to the CC as a member. A member would have to sponsor your daughters event as they are not generally open to the public. That being said we absolutely loved the CC, it was very classy and well done. They do a fantastic job top to bottom. The event coordinator for the weddings Cheryl is like having a personal wedding coordinator.
The CC package start at $100 + per person, which includes open bar for 5 hours, food etc. The music and flowers you would have to provide yourself.
Hotels start around $150 a night. You will have to book the rooms far in advance though because the hotels sell out for the summer months by February. For more information regarding Rehoboth weddings, feel free to visit the website we used to help our guests become familar with rehoboth, www.kelly-rob.com
I hope this helps.
Thanks Kelly, I appreciate your time, and your information was helpful. I will call Rehoboth Beach Club today. Hopefully it will still be possible to have a "sponsor" as we are from Chicago. I love the idea of the Kelly-Rob web site. I am going to have my daughter, Carly, look into it. She is starting grad school at University of Delaware this summer in Special Ed. She teaches high school. Your wedding looked so warm and inviting, I am sure it was a wonderful time. Again, many thanks, Caroline Martin
I just wanted to add that we also got married and had our reception at RBCC, one of the things that I liked about it was that the whole feel of the weekend was a little more relaxed and intimate. We had a smaller crowd at RBCC; about 120 people (the room can hold much more). But it seemed like the people there really wanted to be there. Also, since it was off season, the air was relaxed (but the weather was awesome, 65-70 degrees on Nov 1).
