I currently live near Phoenix and will be getting married next summer on the Atlantic coast. I haven't lived in the area very long and would appreciate honest recommendations regarding where to shop for my wedding dress. I've read a lot of reviews of a number of places and am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Also, I might add that my favorite dresses are from Maggie Sottero, so if anyone knows a great place to go with a nice selection of Maggie's and wonderful customer service, I would be forever grateful! Thank you!

Hi Mona!
I am just starting out as a wedding planner in Phoenix. I would love to help you with any planning you need! I am helping my first person for free! I've been planning my daughter's wedding, and have so much information for the valley, and am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Also, taking a wedding planning course. Let me know if I can help you find any vendors, or help with ideas, for free, and maybe, you can just be a reference for me, when I have a web-site down the road!
Almond Tree Wedding & Event Consignment offers designer gowns at a fraction of the price. almondweddings.com
I have a friend who bought her gown at Suzanne's Bridal, in Gilbert. They carry Maggie Sottero gowns. suzannesbridalboutique.com

Hope this helps; let me know if I can help you in ANY way!

Blessings,

Denise with WHAT A DAY WEDDINGS!! mnicolette@cox.net

I just got married in April and found that Uptown Bridal, in Chandler, had such a great selection. I went to about 10 different bridal shops and they had the most unique selection and they had the BEST customer service by far! They make you feel so special from the moment you walk in the door. They also have a great lounge area for your bridesmaids to watch a movie while they wait to see you in all the beautiful gowns!

Congrats and Good Luck on all your wedding adventures!

I DO! I DO! bridal is very nice and great customer service. I also loved the Wedding Emporium, while they don't have the best selection, they did have the best prices! I tried on dresses at I do! I do! and at Azteca, but ended up buying my dress at Wedding Emporium. The dress was $150 cheaper to order it through them. I've also heard good things about Uptown Bridal, as previous poster listed above. Good Luck!!

I do I do rocks! That's where I got mine. The staff were so nice and helpful and I found the dress of my dreams :) There's also an alterations place right next door and she is really nice as well. Good luck!

Maggie Sottero trunk show at "Azteca" Nov 19-22
"I do I do" are authorized Maggie Sottero retailers so they might have a better selection than other shops.
