I am from out of state trying to find a great venue for my BFFs bridal shower. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Not sure exactly what your looking for by way of group size or pricing but these are beautiful locations. The Creek Club at I'On in Mt Pleasant, Charleston National Golf Club also Mt Pleasant. Another idea is a Bridal Shower Cruise (one name I found quickly was Ripley Light Yacht Club, in Charleston). And Carolina's on Exchange St downtown Charleston is a great place with wonderful staff. Call us if you need a photographer.... Laura

My shower was held at The Post House in the old village in Mt Pleasant. They have two different private rooms that can be used and the food is excellent. Here is their website:

Sorry I cant help with that, but dont get her flowers from PEDALS BY PAMELA. She lies and charges more for what she says shes getting for you. Dont trust her. She ripped me off and didnt give me what I ordered. GOod luck with everything else. Thanks

I really like Magnolias or one of their sister restaurants. Each have private dining areas and great food.
I also know of a great wedding planner in Charleston...and let me know if your BFF needs any help with a honeymoon!

My planner organized a shower for me that was held at our Hotel we were going to us for the wedding reception, The Francis Marion. She got them to give us a great price break on a private room and the light food that we had. It was great and I would think almost any hotel in Charleston would do the same. Or think about renting a suite for the party if it's not a lot of people. Hope that helps.

There's a really nice room at the neww cooper river pier. Great view and an intimate setting
