we are using Sue Gallo from Sue Gallo Designs for our florist and she is amazing!!! She works with any budget too....I would def. check her out!
ps. we are having our reception at Liuna station....the Liuna's are the best!!
Good luck to you!
Thank you ... I'll check her out!
Thanks for your feedback ... we'll have to take a look!
The Sobey's in Waterdown actually did great flowers for us, at a great price. The woman who does them there is eccentric, but awesome.
Just an FYI ... My fiance and I met with Andy (Andy's Cakes) and had a taste testing of a few of her cakes and they were delicious! If anyone is looking for an inexpensive and delicious cake, you may want to connect with her (out of Mississauga).
On another note, has anyone ever used "Expressions by TOA" in Caledonia for invitations? Any suggestions of who to use to create invitations?
There will be a bridal show in Oakville on February 21, 2010 at Hampton's Hotel & Quality Suites. You may want to check it out for local area vendors. Check their website at www.hamptonscatering.ca/BridalShow
Did you find those Red/burgandy ribbons? Where? Do you want to off load them? I am thinking Knollwood This August.
Hi, no I have not found the right colour yet! Although if you're looking yourself for organza material for bows, you could check out: "The Wedding Depot" in Hamilton .. call for an appt. at: 905-545-0373 - they're off of Ottawa Street. We were at a Valentine's Dinner at Liuna Gardens and a woman was there showing pictures of the decorating that she's done for weddings. Apparently the cost of bow rental/set up yourself would be: $.50 per chair or $1.00/chair for her to do it. We looked at Knollwood and thought the barn at the New Golf Course was beautiful. The only reason we didn't book with them was because we were uncomfortable with the Event Coordinator. Hopefully you had a positive experience, as I think it's a beautiful venue.
hey... I got my flowers at Holland Park in Burlington. I would have never thought of it...but someone said they did a great good for a cheap price. I didnt need centrepieces...but I was able to get my bouquet and 4 bridemaids plus the flowers for the guys jackets for $245.00. I got my cake at Lakeview Bakery on Brant St in Burlington. They have amazing cakes. I got a 3 tier cake with 3 differnt filling, delivery and set up for $183.00. check them out
