I got married at Benedict's Castle in Riverside which is run by Teen Challenge. They are set up to hold reception and ceremony at same location which was very convenient. I believe we spent somewhere around $9,000 2 years ago. We had around 150 guests. The price included cake, food, drinks, tables, chairs. We had to provide our own clergy, centerpieces, photographer, and flowers. Although they are strict on certain policies there wasn't anywhere else that affordable. I don't have any major complaints

I used the Mission Inn, Riverside, however it was pricey! I've also been to a wedding held at the Crestmore Manor in Riverside, it was quaint and nice. I believe my friend used and outside catering services so the food and overall cost was under or about $10,000. Good Luck, congratulations of your marriage!

I got married at Vivian Gardens in Riverside. They hold both the Ceremony and Reception if you would like. They are an outside venue so keep that in mind. We paid $4,500 in Aug. 2008, but they might have raised that price. You can use outside vendors, and it's a great location. Here is the website if you want to check it out: http://viviangardens.org/

so overall you think it's a great place to get married at for the price? I'm just trying to find a place that's worth the money. So you had to provide everything? Like tables chairs etc??

It really depends on how many people you plan to have and what type of venue you want.
But with out that information... you could try Menifee Lakes Country Club, great views and they are flexible if you are.
Also try The Banquet Castle 951-683-7579, Riverside Marriott 951-784-8000.
All the local venues are running specials and if you really like the Mission Inn I wouldn't rule it out without talking to one of banquet managers. They are very friendly and helpful.

Check out Crestmore Manor. Pricing is great, except you have to find all the vendors as the only thing they provide is the ceremony and reception spot.

The tables and chairs were included in that price as well, but again they may have changed things, it's worth going to check out, it is a really beautiful venue, trust be if nothing more than to just see the place.

We were married at the Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside in June 2008. We had 75 ppl at our wedding and it cost about $8300-8500.00 (I'm pretty sure their prices have gone up, though.) Cost included: Outdoor ceremony overlooking beautiful golf course w/ lake/waterfall, arch to stand by, table for flowers at alter, ceremony chairs for guests, indoor reception on site, tables, chairs, china, flatware, hors d'oeuvres, 2-hr. hosted bar, dinner, a bottle of red & white wine at every table, champagne for toast. Meal package included 2 chocolate covered strawberries served with the cake. There was no cake cutting fee. They loaned us toasting glasses and cake cutting utensils, since I did not want to spend the money for those items. There was no cake cutting fee or corkage fee. They provide a large, comfortable room for the bride and bridesmaids and the package included cheese, crackers, fruit and champagne in the room. We enjoyed the service provided at the Club. Very friendly staff. Wedding coordinator was easy to work with. Everything ran smoothly and on time.

My husband and I were on a very tight budget. We ended up getting married on the beach...for FREE!!! We used Ocean Blue Photography and Design for our photos. They are great! I would recommend them if you care about quality but don't have a lot of money. This is their website:
