Marrying 10/10. Prefer a casual but elegant locale, outdoor ceremony, about 100 or so guests, definitely band and dancing. Just starting to do the research, unfortunately, and any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I came back to my summer home to get married in 2006. I actually married the boy next door that also summered down here! We since then have rebuilt our beach house 3rd from the beach in Beach Haven Crest to have small weddings; the house sleeps 16, and is a great house for a small family party after the reception. We had the ceremony at the bench on our street by a friend who is a preacher, the reception was at the Beach Haven Fire House which allows you access for 24hrs. give or take. We had a band, and friends did the catering for us, and we had a about a 6-7 hour reception, and then called the bus and hit Nardis for the finale it was a day to remember. The firehouse was easily decorated and we had jars of shells as our center pieces and it looked great. The main thing that I like about it was the fact the reception gave us plenty of time with friend and family, and no one beating down the door to throw us out. We were not a fancy wedding by all means, but we had so much family/friend time it was great. If you are interested in talking some more let me know. I may be able to help you out with something. Let me know if you would be interested in seeing the house for your stay. Good Luck! Sincerely, Mary Ann
