"Our wedding was PERFECT! It was supossed to storm all day and we ended up having a 70 and sunny fall day. We used a lot of friends and my background in weddings to make this a wedding that ws different and fun, but low in cost. We couldn't have asked for a better day."

Hi Kate,

I have to say your wedding looks like it was beautiful! I am also planning a wedding reception at the Legend at Bergamont, and I haven't (until now) been able to find someone who has had their wedding there. I was just wondering if you have any suggestions about anything having to do with the Legend...food choices, decorations, etc...as well as things that you suggest I stay away from. Thank you so much!!!

I'm actually the new Event coordinator for the Legend! I'd be more than happy to let you know what we did. We choose the Chicken Cappelini, Veggie Wellington, and a kids choice for our meals. I had many people come up to me telling me it was the best meal they've had at a wedding. We went natural/rustic for decorations. I made table runners for all the tables and then had three cylinder vases all different heights on the table. One had a large candle, one had rustic popori, and the other had a laminated picture of us with the table number on it floating underwater with a floating candle on top. We're very flexible with decorations. Just let me know what you need help with and I'd be more than happy to help.

Hi again,

I had a question for you regarding the tasting at the Legend. I am trying to order invitations and realized that we cannot do that until we have chosen our food because we would like to offer our guests a choice. When would be the earliest we could set one of these up? We are also wondering if we could work out the beverage details as well? I realize this is a difficult way to communicate, and if you had an email address that you prefer I would be happy to use that from now on.
