RACHEL AND JACKSON'S WEDDING

"Our wedding was great! The city of DePere is very quaint and beautiful. We loved having our ceremony, reception, hotel for guests, and gift opening all within a mile or two radius. We had cloudy skies that late April but it brought great color to our photos. Actually, it rained during our photography session outside...but thank God we got a beautiful wedding gift of an umbrella to take pictures with. It really fit our style. We used wedding mapper for our wedding website and guests were very impressed. I love how clear it is and not confusing for anyone. We even got to use it for our accommodations card in our wedding invitation! Its great to get a picture of where everything is for our guests, which gets them prepared and excited with us for that Great Day."

"We actually got Italian cookies (Genetti) here and made it into a pyramid on a tray for our "cake". We put it together since it was miles away, but this bakery made the Genetti. It was delicious...close to my grandmother's cooking. It stayed fresh for a long time after the wedding too. Guests loved it. And of course we did too."

"This place was perfect for us. It was a great get away. Very romantic atmosphere. Our room had a whirlpool and fireplace. Places in Door County are beautiful. You can do a variety of things too. Its not the busy summer season yet in April so it was really great privacy for us. Antique shops opened May 1st. And sometimes we were the only ones eating at nice a restaurant! The inn keepers were very accomodating and helpful to get to know the area. Breakfast every morning at the main house of the inn...but it was hard for us to wake up for it. hehe. Very peaceful place and easy to just relax and enjoy."

"Timely on the prints. Mike was very helpful to give suggestions on how to work with my budget. He showed examples of what he has done and it's not like all the typical wedding invitations you see. Our invitation folded into itself. By going here I could get creative with our invitation. It was great! Love the results and we got alot of compliments from our guests for it!"

"We didn't have a dj (just out ipod!) or alcohol at our wedding...so this was perfect entertainment for the guests. And a great party favor (unlimited photos)! We also got a beautiful guest book out of it too! The booth had a line all night. They were really nice and dealt with everything before the wedding so we wouldn't be bothered the day of. Very happy with their service and I would recommend it to anybody."

"A intimate, beautiful sanctuary with old brick walls that used to be a barn. We attend this church and the community there kept bringing us back because of their welcoming love. Its a small but growing church. And it's great for all kinds of ages. Very accepting. They were very flexible about having our wedding there. We were the first ones in that building. We had to add some chairs, but they were hardly used the day of the wedding. We didn't have much decorations and they were nice to have us use any of theirs for the ceremony as well as the reception. People stepped up in the church to give us a wedding shower and to help take down decorations/set it back up for Sunday morning service. We are so grateful for this place in many ways."

"We originally had the smallest of rooms, but because of a change in their schedule they upgraded us to a more spacious, more beautiful room (with no extra cost!). That was such a blessing and we thank God for it. They were very accommodating and helpful. We had the cheapest of food, buffet style, and it was delicious! We had many compliments from our guests. The guests loved it that they could always go back and get some more!"

"We didn't have that many guests come from out of town to use this hotel. But they were HELPFUL if any of our guests needed a ride to and from the reception they would with their shuttle. We had to have a certain number of rooms reserved before we could use a room for gift opening, but we just didn't have enough rooms booked. That was a bummer, but we had enough people booked to a hotel nearer to our ceremony and reception. So we had our gift opening there. I didn't get to see any of the rooms my guests would stay in, I wish they offered to show us, but the lobby area was kept up and beautiful. Overall, it's an accommodating hotel."

"This is where most of our guests stayed since it was near both the ceremony and reception. They were very nice to show us each of the rooms before we reserved our wedding block. They have large rooms to accommodate more than a couple in a room. Great for our guests of families and for them to "pool in" on a room together. It's great that this hotel is right in downtown Depere so our guests could have many options of activities nearby too. After having so many rooms booked we got a complimentary room for our first night of marriage and a gift opening room! They gave us a gift of Seroogy's chocolates, a local chocolate company, which we loved. Which gave me the idea of giving our out-of-town guests a gift basket of Seroogy's Chocolates. That brought a delicious taste of Depere/Green Bay area to our guests-whom wanted more after that. Overall, this hotel was perfect for the location of all of our events. We were very happy with them."
