SARA AND IAIN'S WEDDING
March, 2008 in Edinburgh"We had a fantastic day, and the marriage has been a hoot so far too! We had a lot of guests from overseas, and the Wedding Mapper was such an asset for them! We put gift bags in the hotels of the out-of-town guests with all sorts of things, but what they liked best was the printed map and itinerary. I was so glad I found this great resource!"

"Susan was so good to me- worked with me to realize my vision for the day, took my ideas on board and added some of her own, and the bouquets she made for myself and mybridesmaids were especially beautiful. Highly recommended!"
Ceremony:
The Roxburghe Hotel
38 Charlotte SquareEdinburgh, Scotland EH2 4, GB
"Although the venue was lovely, the service provided us was less than we were led to expect, and many of the little details we tried to put in place were lost on the day (including service of a different chicken dish altogether than the one we ordered!). Although it was mostly stuff that only we noticed and our guests thought everything was lovely, I can't say I would recommend the venue."
Hotel:
The Port Inn

"Eilidh was a terrific hostess and many of my friends and family who travelled from the states and stayed here still talk about how much they enjoyed their stay here. The accomodations are clean and modern, the food is great and the pub is friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!"
Attraction:
Arthur's Seat
Edinburgh, Midlothian, United Kingdom"If you're looking for more exercise than 16 oz. curls, hike up Arthur's Seat, the largest of the extinct volcanoes which give Edinburgh its odd geography (switch to satellite view for and idea what I mean). It's a long walk but Oh, the view!"
Attraction:
Edinburgh Castle
Johnston TerraceEdinburgh, Scotland, GB
"If you see one thing in Edinburgh, let it be the castle. For extra excitement, be there at 1pm for the One O'Clock Gun."
Attraction:
Palace Of Holyrood House
Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh, United Kingdom"The Royal Mile (also known as High Street) runs from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace, and is a great walk lined with shops and pubs. Start at the Castle and walk to Holyrood, unless you fancy a one mile walk uphill!"
Attraction:
The Royal Yacht Britannia
Ocean Terminal, LeithEdinburgh, Midlothian, United Kingdom
"The former yacht of the royal family is now a fixture at Ocean Terminal, Leith's 'Shopping Centre' (don't call it a mall- even though it is one ;-)"
Pub:
Port O'Leith
58 Constitution StEdinburgh, Scotland EH6 7, GB
"The spiritual center of Leith and run by the legendary Mary Morriarty, 'The Port' has been compared to the bar in Star Wars- and not always favorably. Not for the faint of heart, or for Hearts fans..."
B & B:
Pillars House
