"Connie and Hallie are wonderful to work with to plan our wedding. They are extremely professional and responsive. They helped us make the right decisions without pushing us to do more, even though we could have easily done more and possibly gone overboard with extras. Their Linen shop is just amazing and I think I had more fun with the decor options than picking the food. But the food is simply amazing. You should definitely take the opportunity to go to their restaurant to taste the food prior to hiring but you won't be disappointed. I was very happy with Occasions and wouldn't hesitate to use them again."

"I had the most amazing experience with Riverside Farm. I worked with them for 15 months prior to my wedding there and everything went so smoothly. I lived 10 hours away so it was difficult to do any of my planning in-person. I did everything over email and phone and Riverside Farm helped me with every detail. Liz is responsive and assisted me with recommendations in the area. They have a wonderful network in the Pittsfield area and I trusted everyone I hired because they had already worked with Riverside. The planning was simple and unstressful and it was all because of Liz and Courtney. When the wedding arrived, everything was exactly what we had expected and imagined. Liz and Courtney were there with me throughout the weekend and helped with every detail. I honestly can't think of anything that didn't work out or fell through the cracks. I never worried once and I had the most relaxing, wonderful wedding. I would recommend Riverside Farm for anyone that wants an outdoorsy Vermont wedding with amazing scenery and a beautiful piece of property to enjoy."

Killington Grand Hotel

"There were some challenges with blocking rooms at the Killington Grand (look at their contract closely!) but once we got over that challenge the Grand was very helpful with every detail. We had a few room changes and those were made with no problems. I suggest that guests make reservations well in advance because they book up quickly and we were unable to expand our room block as we got closer to the wedding. Also, they have a late check-in time so be sure to have guests request an early check in, if needed."

"Wonderful inn with the "world's best breakfast". The rooms are small and simple but it's very reasonably priced. The road is very noisy at night so request a room in the back of the inn."

"The Pico adventure area is a lot of fun for kids and even adults. The alpine slide in particular is great but try to leave a lot of time between you and the person in front of you. If they are really slow you'll get stuck behind them!"
