"When I first became engaged I immediately started planning my wedding. I knew that I wanted certain things at my wedding . . . good food, great music, people I loved and pictures to tell the story. One of the things I devoted a lot of time to was finding a great photographer. I spent a good amount of time researching various types of photography and I looked at A LOT of websites. I found Catie and knew immediately that I liked her work. I saw some pictures on Catie’s website but I had no idea how amazing her work was until I met with her. I was planning my wedding from a distance and it was challenging at times to meet with vendors. Catie was very accommodating and worked with my schedule. My fiancé and I met with Catie and she brought an entire album from a wedding she had just shot. I didn’t like just a couple of pictures, I loved them all! I knew then that Catie would be a wonderful photographer at our wedding. One of the things I admired most about Catie was how much she wanted us to love the pictures. When Catie came to my parents’ the day of the wedding, I was blown away with her professionalism. It was so nice not to have to worry about the photographer! I knew she had it under control and Catie blended right in with the crowd. Working with her was like working with an old friend. She was so easy going and happy. The best part was getting the pictures when I got back from our honeymoon. I still look through them frequently and I am still amazed with Catie’s work. Whenever someone tells me they are getting married – the first thing I tell them is they need to hire Catie!"
