Great big pancakes, omelettes and espresso for breakfast! Target and Walgreens are just down the road---and so is CoCo's Shaved Ice.
Common Grounds

I used to work here! This is where all of Baylor's cool kids hang out... Stop in for lemon bars, coffee, smoothies, or a "Keep Waco Wacko" souvenir T-shirt.
Harold Waite Pancake & Steak

Pancake house! Another favorite breakfast spot. The owners eat at 1424 frequently, when they aren't buying Louis Viton scarves in Paris. This place is decorated with pictures of the owners in neon ski suits on the slopes of Aspen. The decor alone is worth the visit!
Homestead Heritage Visitor Center
608 Dry Creek RdWaco, TX, USA
(254) 754-9600
A great place to eat breakfast on Saturday or lunch anyday. Take time to check out the farm, fine woodworking, stained glass, and pottery barn. It's worth the drive!
Dinner

This is where Dan took me on our first date (and where I am currently employed). If it's not too hot, stop by to sip on some wine or eat some delicious chocolate creme brulee. The orange roughy is not bad, either, according to the "Texas Monthly."
Attraction
Baylor University
801 S 9th StWaco, TX, USA

This is where we work and go to school. The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum (Admissions & Reservations Info: 254-750-8631) and the Mayborn Children's Museum (254.710.1110) are right next to campus.
Corpus Christi, Texas
This is the only beach I've been to in Texas. The gulf water is warm, but you will have to navigate some sea weed. Corpus is home to the Texas surf museum and the first "What-a-burger"in Texas.
