"San Antonio was so much fun for all! We had so many compliments on every detail, venue, hotel, cake, dj, flowers, caterer, favors, minister, etc. Our wedding was everything we wanted and much more! Perfect dream! Our wedding was true San Anotonio fiesta style and everyone LOVED it! We were truly blessed with such a special day to be married! Not only was our wedding fun, the entire wedding weekend in San Anotonio was a blast! Highly recommend any and ALL our vendors."

Hi Sara & Chris,
My fiance and I are getting married in September 2010 and are looking into the McNay and the Witte. I see that you had both your ceremony and reception at the Witte and just wanted general information - did you book the entire site? did you use lighting in the ballroom? Where did you have the ceremony? Are there any pros/cons or warning you'd pass along to a couple looking to have a wedding there?

Hi Jen!

First of all, I LOVED everything about the Witte! They have several options for areas you can book. We chose to book only the auditorium, courtyard (for the ceremony), and the little house near the courtyard (for the girls to get ready in and store gifts.) From the get go I was impressed with the amount of attention and support I got from the Witte team. They allowed me several times to visit the site for walk-throughs, etc. I worked with Lauren and she was incredible. She responded to all my questions (which were tons!) speedy and with great advice. She was there by our side for everything we wanted and or needed. Another plus about the Witte is their offerings of rentals. We rented tables and chairs from them for a great price. We used lighting in the auditorium and special lighting from our florist Pizzini Designs (who is AWESOME!) The parking for our guests was amble, free, and covered (total plus!) To be honest with you I can't think of one con! Well maybe one! We wanted to leave with sparklers and of course it's a city ordinace (not the Witte's fault!)
