Whenever we are in the mood for queso, jalapeno ranch sauce, enchiladas, chips and salsa, or just for a fun night eating out, Chuy's is always our place. If you get a chance, grab a bite!

Cisco's Restaurant Bakery

The BEST breakfast tacos and Dr. Pepper with crushed ice! We also like the biscuits and buttery sauce. If we are up early enough, we love to visit Cisco's for a great start to the day.

Huts Hamburgers

Anonymous loves the burger with chili and freshly grated cheddar cheese. Anonymous prefers the All American burger. Either way, Hut's has our favoritet burgers in the city.

Madam Mam's Noodles & More

We've tried several Thai restaurants throughout the city, and Madam Mam's on campus is still one of the best. But be careful; it can be spicy!

Nuevo Leon

One of the best kept Mexican food secrets in Austin. We had forgotten about it, but remembered it recently. They have incredible sopapillas! We had such a good experience last time we went we decided to have the rehearsal dinner here!

Pho Van

Pho Van is our favorite Vietnamese place in town. It has a friendly atmosphere and the egg rolls are the best (second only to Anonymous's mom's egg rolls). They also have the best Vietnamese sandwiches!

Reed's Jazz and Supper Club

This place is awesome! They have a 1920's vibe, with live jazz, and some of the best shrimp you'll ever have.

Rounders Pizzeria

Rounder's Pizza is where we had dinner after we got engaged on December 1, 2006. They have great pizza and the atmosphere is nice and quiet.

San Francisco Bakery & Cafe

Our favorite bakery in the city. The sandwiches are always fresh, the bread is made on site and the cheese danishes are incredible!

Texadelphia

Whenever we feel like eating until we are sick, we head to Texadelphia. They have these incredible curly fries you dip in queso, and then of course you can't go wrong with the cheesesteaks. YUM!

6th Street & the Warehouse District

The center of nightlife in Austin! We love to eat and have fun down here. Some of our favorite places: Iron Cactus, The Belmont, Lucky Lounge, and Ginger Man.

Town Lake trail & Auditorium Shores

We love to take Mimi Pug to the dog park at Auditorium Shores. The park has a great view of downtown. Town Lake is the heart of the city; you can take the Pedestrian Bridge for a scenic view above the water, walk or run along the trail, or canoe with friends.

Trail of Lights & Zilker Park Christmas Tree

The Trail of Lights is our favorite Holiday tradition in Austin. The displays are beautiful and taking a spin under the Zilker Tree is a lot of fun! We only spin once around, because Anonymous gets queasy.

37th Street Christmas Lights Display

If you have the chance, please drive through the 37th Street Christmas lights display. It is definitely Christmas, Austin-style. You'll probably see aluminum foil sculptures, fire dancers, and of course tons of hanging lights.

Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum

The Texas State History Museum is an interesting place to spend a day. There's several floors of Texas history to check out, and it has an IMAX theater!

State of Texas Capitol Building & Congress Avenue Christmas Lights

The State of Texas Capitol Building is absolutely gorgeous, especially around the Holidays. Make sure to check out the Christmas tree on the Capitol grounds and all of the lights hung above Congress Avenue!

University of Texas at Austin

Our beloved University of Texas! It's where we met, and we still love walking the 40 Acres when we can. When we were students, we remember walking by Battle Hall at Holiday time and seeing the Christmas tree in the upstairs window. Hopefully it's still there!
