We love to take Mimi Pug to the dog park at Auditorium Shores. The park has a great view of downtown. Town Lake is the heart of the city; you can take the Pedestrian Bridge for a scenic view above the water, walk or run along the trail, or canoe with friends.

The Trail of Lights is our favorite Holiday tradition in Austin. The displays are beautiful and taking a spin under the Zilker Tree is a lot of fun! We only spin once around, because Anonymous gets queasy.

If you have the chance, please drive through the 37th Street Christmas lights display. It is definitely Christmas, Austin-style. You'll probably see aluminum foil sculptures, fire dancers, and of course tons of hanging lights.

The State of Texas Capitol Building is absolutely gorgeous, especially around the Holidays. Make sure to check out the Christmas tree on the Capitol grounds and all of the lights hung above Congress Avenue!

Our beloved University of Texas! It's where we met, and we still love walking the 40 Acres when we can. When we were students, we remember walking by Battle Hall at Holiday time and seeing the Christmas tree in the upstairs window. Hopefully it's still there!
