hi,
hope you don't mind me contacting you. I notice on wedding mapper you got married at Middleton hall (tamworth) we have recently had their brochure come throuht as we are in the process of planning our wedding. The brochure doesn't make the place look that great so we have discounted it, but when I noticed you have used this venue for your wedding. I was wondering whether you can give me more detail on the set up, value for money. etc. appreciate any info, thanks

Hi Natalie,
We were very happy with Middleton Hall.
The reasons we chose it as our wedding venue were that it wasn't just another anonymous hotel, you get the all of the hall and gardens for whole day, the staff (especially Christine), couldn't do enough to help.
The hall has a bit of history to it, again rather than just being another modern building.
The great hall was used for the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening reception, each being transformed from one to the other without any problems.
They have their preferred caterers, who were excellent and have a good relationship with Middleton Hall. Also, they don't charge a fortune for wine or corkage.
The only minor problem with Middleton Hall, were the fact that it's not a hotel, so there's no accomodation, but there are plently of hotels very nearby.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Middleton Hall, or at least go and take a long round.
