September, 2008 in Pawleys Island"Perfect location for an elegant southern wedding. Pawley's Island and the Litchfield area are one of the nicest secrets in South Carolina. Although a quick drive from the tourist areas and Myrtle Beach, you can feel miles away. Driving into the town immediately puts you into another place. The spanish moss is gorgeous and everywhere. Plenty of shops, cafes and golf courses to keep wedding guests busy before and after the event. An outdoor wedding is really the thing to do here, and play on all the beauty nature has provided."

"Beautiful! Wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the Avenue of Live Oaks. Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing held inside Carriage House. Would have liked to give five stars, but had multiple issues with staff turnover throughout the year I planned the wedding. From beginning to end I met and planned my event with three different banquet managers. If you are willing to deal with this, and manage your event on your own or with an outside wedding planner, this place is perfect."

"Beautiful location and great staff. Litchfield Beach Resort was accommodating and helped on many occassions when things were not as we had hoped or planned. We rented various condos beachfront, many rooms at the hotel on site, as well as the marsh properties. All guests commented on how well they enjoyed their stay. Some out of towners are even planning their summer vacations back to Litchfield Beach Resort. Can't wait to go back and just relax!"
