Favorite Beaches
Dolphin Watching
Although dangerous for swimming, this is a great place to view Charleston at sunset and watch dolphins at play during the day. Less beach at high tides.
Sullivans Island Beaches
The "locals" beach. Important things to know: get there early (before 9) or late (after 4) to avoid the really horrible holiday traffic. Also, avoid swimming at the area on the harbour near Fort Moultrie and at Beach Inlet. The currents are dangerous.
