SIOBHAN AND NUNO'S WEDDING

September, 2009 in Lisbon

"We loved every minute of our wedding. All of our Irish guests found it easy to travel to Lisbon, loved the city and loved that we transported them out of the city to a part of the country they would otherwise probably never visit. We used the Wedding Planner Map to identify some of the sites we thought people would be interested to see, but most importantly it showed people where the bus to the wedding was leaving from."

"Beautiful little church in a small village. The decoration in the church is amazing and the local priest and sacristan were helpfull at all times."

Reception:

Quinta da Bichinha - Ventosa

"Beautiful venue, excellent service, huge variety of food and the food itself was very very good. The quinta is very picturesque with a big garden and courtyard. There's a lake nearby where you can have a civil marriage ceremony. The wine served at our wedding was the Quinta's own wine, which was a nice touch. The only reason I have rated this venue as 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is because we had to transfer our guests from Lisbon (1 hour away) and there are only 7 double rooms at the venue for rental."
