Philadelphia Wedding In October
Philadelphia, PA, USA, October, 2007
"If you want something different than the church/hotel wedding and reception, Merion Tribute House is a fantastic and beautiful location. With lovely grounds for an outdoor ceremony, and great architecture with a wonderful ballroom indoors, it provides space for about 150 guests comfortably. The only downside is the meager selection of local hotels and distance from the airport and Center City."

Don't forget to include this on your historic tour! Random, but neat. Click the link to learn more!

Fairmount Park is a 9,200 acre park - in the middle of Philadelphia! There are a number of historic sites to see here, as well as the Japanese House and Garden. Trolley tours of these sights are sometimes available (see website).
Historical Landmarks
6th St & Market StPhiladelphia, PA
This is the part of town to come to for history buffs. The Constitution Center, Liberty Bell and Independence Hall are all here. Start at the Visitor's Center to figure out what you want to see!
Isgro Pastries
YUMMM! Says it all. Sample one of each of the cannolies, and biscotti. Everything else is amazing too. But be prepared to stand in line!
Italian Market District
If you love Italian food or open-air markets, or both, you should not miss this area. Amazing fresh pasta (we love the ravioli from Superior) and everything else you could dream of.
