"If you do nothing else while you're in Oregon, visit the falls. Take the scenic Columbia River Highway from Corbett and drive as far as you can stand. There are lots of (uphill) trails around the Gorge. If you make it to Hood River, get a room at the lodge for the night and then drive back on the Washington side of the river. It's a great weekend getaway."
