Crown Point is the name for the location of the Vista House, which was built in 1916 and overlooks the Columbia Gorge. Vista House is a beautiful octagonal building with a copper roof that was recently renovated and is a stunning vantage point for the Gorge area.

Multnomah Falls is the second highest year-round waterfall in the nation. The water of the Falls drops 620 feet from its origin on Larch Mountain, right off the Columbia River. This is a beautiful sight year round and a true Oregon landmark.

Join us for an easy 4.2 mile hike (roundtrip) to see the beautiful 30 foot Punchbowl waterfall. We'll have some lunch and drinks, which we'll provide, before we set off for our hike

One of many farmers' markets in Portland, this one at Portland State University is the biggest and the best! We'll stop by, have some snacks and sweets and check all the beautiful organic food and plants. Then we'll hop back on the streetcar and move on to the Riverwalk to see the Willamette River that runs through Portland.

Join us as we walk from the streetcar stop along the Willamette Riverfront to the Saturday Market. This is about a one mile walk and is primarily on the sidewalk. We'll enjoy views of the river and the many bridges Portland is famous for.

The Portland Saturday Market is made up of more than 300 local artisans selling their creations varying from woodwork to jewelry to glasswork. What is unique about the market is that the people selling the art are exclusively the artists themselves. From here, we'll take the MAX light rail to Powells bookstore.

Powell's City of Books has been a Portland landmark for more than thirty years and its warehouse-like store holds more books than any reader could dream of. Though there are now seven Powell's stores around Portland, this one remains the largest and most impressive. This Powell's location sits on the edge of the trendy Pearl District which provides shopping and restaurants. From here we'll return to the hotel on the streetcar.
