It was excellent! The food was amazing, service was great. We had the cocktail hour outside while the sun was setting, it was really beautiful.

The dinner was served in courses and in between each course, guests danced. This was different than what a lot of people were used to but everybody loved it!
Many of the guests at our wedding were from Pittsburgh and they said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

We used all of the vendors that they recommended. I think that the DJ (Ernie) works really well with Trumpets as far as timing of entertainment between courses. He played exactly the kind of music that we wanted. The DJ even sang a few songs himself. He's good, but if you don't like that sort of thing and you decided to go with him, be sure to mention it to him as it took me by surprise.

The cake was also delicious, and beautiful!

The only problem we had at all the entire day was with the florist they recommended. We used them for our ceremony flowers as well as reception and they were late. They were putting up ribbons after the ceremony had begun and we had to start over!

Also, my bouquet had a lily that never opened. Sticking straight up in the middle of my bouquet in all the photos! But if you are only going to be using them for flowers at Trumpets, you should be fine. The arrangements on the tables were gorgeous and they really knew how to work with the venue.
