GINGER AND DUSTIN'S WEDDING

July, 2010 in Wolf Run Golf Club, Reno, NV 89511, USA

"DJ and Photographers were AWESOME. Wolf Run Golf Course it the last the place I would recomend to anyone who is looking to hold a wedding there. Poor custom service, rude staff, they are not professional planners and it really shows in everything that they do."

"I had my wedding here and it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The VP/Special Events Coordinator was very difficult to deal with. When we were able to get in contact with her. We had our event booked with them16 months prior to our wedding. Phone calls and emails were not returned. They took 3 attemps to get our menu correct. When I finally was able to get in contact with someone 9 days out from my wedding. The wedding coordinator screamed at me and refused to take responsiblity for her actions or lack of. When I asked to work with another coordinator she refused and stated that I had to work with her I had no choice. Even thought I spoke with someone else there that seemed willing to help me and make it all work. The day of our wedding she didnt make contact with us for 2 hrs after we arrived (she was sitting at the bar when we got there) We were told there would be racks to hang on dresses on, those were not there. We hung all our dresses including my wedding dress off a locker. The men had no rack to hang their tuxes. My cake was put out too soon and it melted. It had to be put back in the freezer. She sceamed at my wedding party on several occasions. It started to rain very hard after our ceremony. The staff was very unprepaird for the weather. And several guest stated that it looked like they didnt know what they were doing. They were more worried about putting out the food in the rain that informing the guest what the delay was with the bridal party making an entrance to the reception. They had no dry power for the DJ which extended the delay. Rain was coming down in side the tent on our head table and on the cake table. A guest removed the cake (a small 10 in round single layer cake) from the rain she yelled at the guest for touching it. Then put it back in the rain. The guest went and informed her to please move the cake and when she went to move it she dropped my cake on the ground. It had to be fixed by a bridesmaid. The mens dressing room was to have the windows blacked out (per the wedding coordinator) and they werent. They had a 360 view of the place so I was unable to go ourside to take pictures before the ceremony. My photographers were yelled at several times by the staff for no reason. The champagene was poured before all guests had even been released for the buffet line. So it was warm by the time we toasted. The children had kids meals. The meals for the children in the bridal party were not served these and they ate from the buffet and then was yelled at by the coordinator for eatting that. We paid for it we didnt care what they ate at that point. 3 children 1 9y/o and 17 y/o and 12 y/o where served champagne and was caught by the photographer and swapped to apple cider. We had a no host bar and asked that it be a full bar with the execption of no shots being served. That only held true to the outside bar at the reception, guest were able to walk inside and buy shots. Prior to the ceremony a good portion of the guest were in the bar inside ordering drinks and I was told by several guest that she was yelling at the bartender to stop serving people. Really.... your making money and most people wouldnt complain about that in a poor economy. Our gifts were to be loaded in our parents car by staff (from what she told us when we signed our contract) Our family loaded them because the staff was too busy cleaning up and pushing us out even though we had the place for another 45 min to an hour. The lights where turned off 45 min prior to us having to be out. The staff was overall rude and came acorss very unprofessional throught the entire process and our family and friends were yelled at and treated very poorly as well as our other vendors. I dont advise having your wedding with any of their properties (Kiley Ranch, Dayton Valley or Wolf Run)"
