Hi Joanne,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Rainbow Gardens was a wonderful all inclusive place for ceremony/reception, but it is completely indoors. It is an indoor garden setting. My wedding was in October and it gets very windy here then, so I didn't want to chance getting blown away! Also, it can be very hot here in May..especially being from the UK!! LOL! The best piece of advice I can give you is to use Casey as your coordinator NOT Doug. There is another girl there that is also awesome & I feel bad I can't recall her name at the moment...but do your self a favor & steer clear of Doug. You will thank me! Not the most personable of creatures, and when you are planning your Big Day, you want to be treated special!!

Hi Catherine, many thanks for your response it was very helpful, that is so sad to hear r.gdns is indoors so I wont be holding it there now, may I ask if you viewed anywhere else you may think suitable for us?It is such a hard choice so many places! thanks catherine really appreciate it, jo x

Hmmm..to be honest, I didn't concentrate too much on outdoor venues, but I can ask my friend (who was my wedding photographer, now turned sweet friend!) as she would have loads of suggestions. If you have the time check out her website and blogs (Fantastic reading!!) www.tslphotography.com/blogs
You said @ 40 people with a few children, yes? What date are you looking at? Do you want a venue that's all inclusive (flowers/cake/reception, etc?)Throw me as much info that you have! I'll look into for you on this end. :-)

Hi again cath,well I have plenty of time its not till may 2011,hopefully the 7th sat. yes I think the all inclusive options look good- are they usually about 4000 dollars?Id like the most hassle free wedding(wouldnt everyone!)Im going to bring my own dress and thats about it apart from my fiance of course!Cake photos flowers all to be ordered online, and I would prefer ceremony and reception to be in one place so as not to be dragging the guests around. But I do like the look of caesaers garden,and also thought victorias family- the outside patio/garden looked particularly nice.I hope to transfer my guests from hotel to venue in limo,s.But will keep searching, I will log on to your sweet friends site too,to get some ideas, thanks cath your a star!speak soon x jo

Hi Jo, I don't think you will like the surrounding area of Victoria's. It's like a shopping center...very crowded. Personally, I didn't want to have my wedding where several other weddings were going on at the same time in the same place! There is only one other room at Rainbow Gardens, but they coordinate it so that you never even know there is another wedding going on. I sure didn't!! Are you on facebook? ~Cathi

Hi cath no im afraid Im not on facebook,I really should be though I keep saying I will put myself on it and never do!So if I booked rgdns I would need photographer&flowers they dont seem to be included in package is this right?hey cathi also where is RG,I know the strip area well but thats about it.looked at a place yesterday called sunset gdn, ever heard of this?All questions keep popping into my head:-) what is a full open bar?does this mean all beers wines softdrinks are prepaid?what is the dj like also? no more questions I promise!I couldnt get on to your friends site though I tried a few times ill try more again.speak to soon cathi have nice weekend x jo x

Hiya Jo~ Sunset Gardens is alot farther from the strip than Rainbow Gardens. Yes, you would need your own flowers & photography. Try going to her site independantly and not thru the link I sent. Also, the absolute BEST price for flowers (beautiful quality arrangements) is who I used. Believe me, I researched EVERY vendor in this town! Open bar included is exactly that. Not premium...but good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Sodas, teas & coffees too, of course. Remember to ask for Casey if/when you contact them directly! =) Bedtime now! G'nite!
