More food

Here you'll find Bojangles, which is a must-have if you've never experienced it...they do fried chicken and biscuits right...I recommend it for a not-so-healthy, but well worth it breakfast. Also here is On the Border, and Chili's.

Outback and Kanki

I think everyone knows Outback Steakhouse, but Kanki is a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant that's one of our favorites...check out the huge aquarium inside.

Panera Bread

Panera Bread is a very yummy, yet inexpensive place to get good sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads, baked goods, and pastries. They have pretty good bagels and a whole breakfast menu, too. Wireless internet access is free here.

Renaissance Center

Across from Southpoint mall, this is an all outdoor shopping center where you'll find places to eat such as P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Chili's, The Melting Pot, Ted's Montana Grill, Moe's (fast and fresh tex-mex), Starbucks, and more.

The Streets at Southpoint

There are several dining options here. Restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Champps, Firebirds Rocky Mountain Grill, Rockfish Seafood Grill, the Cheesecake Factory, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Panera Bread, and of course, Maggiano's. Other places include the food court inside, the cafe in Barnes & Noble, Auntie Ann's, Barnie's Coffee and Tea, Nordstrom eBar and Cafe, Cinnabon, Dippin Dots, Godiva, Haagen Daaz, Marble Slab Creamery, Mrs. Field's Cookies, Nestle Tollhouse Cookies, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Durham Bulls Baseball Stadium

The Bulls are Durham's historic and beloved AAA minor league professional baseball team that were once featured in a classic movie called Bull Durham, starring Kevin Costner. Fans keep the stadium filled for most games, and tickets are very cheap. If you're here early and looking for something to past the time, check out their schedule.

Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

This luxury hotel has a lot to offer even if you aren't staying here. The "Wash-Duke" as people at Duke like to call it, boasts a championship golf course and some very fine (albeit expensive) four-diamond dining opportunities. The Fairview is their main restaurant, and the Vista Restaurant is a casual kiosk-style eaterie that lets you eat the same fabulous food at much lower prices. Get a drink and some light food fare at the Bull Durham Bar (yes, the movie is about this Durham), and check out their afternoon high tea service...it's possibly the best you'll find this side of the pond.

New Hope Commons

Patterson Place

Just across the street from the hotel is a shopping center featuring Home Depot, Kohl's, DSW (shoes), Bed Bath & Beyond, Total Wine, A.C. Moore, Pet Smart, and more.

Renaissance Center

Shopping here includes Pier 1 Imports, REI Outfitters, Linens 'N Things, Cost Plus World Market, S&K Menswear, David's Bridal, Jared's, and other smaller shops.

Streets At Southpoint

Lots of shopping here. There are inside and outside portions of this mall. See the site for a store directory. Mall Hours: Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-9:00pm Friday: 10:00am-10:00pm Saturday: 8:00am-10:00pm Sunday: 12:00pm-7:00pm Some stores such as Barnes & Noble and most restaurants stay open later.
