"Our sunset wedding at Fort Fisher's North Gazebo on Kure Beach, NC was absolutely breathtaking! The staff at Fort Fisher is easy to work with and very flexible. The pictures turned out splendid and had that twighlight hue to them that just made it even lovlier. We had about 25 people with us for the wedding and most of the week following. We rented a house on the beach nearby. We would definitely recommend this to other couples as a great spot to get married and have a destination wedding!"

Thanks for the question, Kimmay. The North Gazebo at Ft. Fisher Historical Museum was one of the sweetest places we found to hold our wedding. We'd been there a couple times since discovering Kure & Carolina beaches several yaers ago. There are a few other nice spots at the same site that you can get married at. Just contact Ft. Hi, Harper. Very sorry I didn't see your question at first. The North Gazebo is located at Ft. Fisher History & Museum in Kure Beach, NC. They are great there and will work with you very easily. I misplaced the documents with the phone #s but you can call information and get their phone #. They have 2 gazebos (ours was the more private one called North Gazebo) and they have a few other pretty wedding spots in that same area that are beautiful for weddings. Give them a call ;) Hope it's a wonderful day for you and your significant other!

Harper, I forgot to mention the price, I can't lay my hands on the contract we had with them, but I'm thinking it was only $150 but when u call 411 for the info (Ft. Fisher History Museum in Kure Beach, NC) and give them a call they'll get you all the info really fast. Thanks.

The other few places I mentioned are beautiful to get married in are all at the same location; Fort Fisher History Museum. You can get their phone # from 411 info, they are located in Kure Beach, NC. "This was an easy and oh so beautiful place to have our ceremony. The north gazebo feels more private than some of the other areas, it makes for a really lovely wedding site, at either the north gazebo or the little beach area right beside it. The staff is helpful & friendly. There was only one small problem, where we had paid twice, but they readily fixed that. Would definitely recommend this place to all!"

"Wonderful place to have a reception! It was fun and vibrant. We didn't have to rent out the whole room, which was a cost we coudln't afford. We reserved our spot on the patio for the wedding reception group to come and noone else was in that area. It worked out so well. We filled most of the area up with our cake tables, gift table and the 22 people that were there. The waitresses that helped us had done this several times in the past and reallly helped me out when I was a little tired and didn't know exactly how or where to put things. They were fantastic and helped make something already great, even greater. This is an outside spot so beware, you might see a pest of some type. But honestly, it didn't detract from the festivities at all."

"Madonna Nash, was booked & confirmed for singing at our beach wedding. Talked to her a couple of times, but could not reach her about song choices 3 or 4 weeks away from the wedding and she did not show up to sing at our wedding. We could not reach her by phone calls or emails, after the 1st couple of times I talked with her. There was no explanation, no calls about this from Madonna Nash or her people. I was so happy when I met her and booked her for our 8-31-08 wedding, but because she was a no-show and never telephoned or emailed about it, I would not recommend booking her for your event. It was extremely unprofessional. The wedding was beautiful without the singing or music, but we had really wanted a couple of special songs sung at our wedding. After the wedding, I sent an expression of my disappointment at her lack of professionalism."
