Soulard is an area of the city with many great bars and restaurants. There is often good live music and many places have outdoor patios. The Anheuser-Busch brewery is also located in this area. Recommendations: The brewery tour, John D. McGurk's, Big Daddy's, Lucas School House

The Grove

"The Grove" is another up-and-coming area in STL with a diverse selection of bars. Recommendation: rBar

Washington Avenue District

The Washington Avenue area is an up and coming area of town. Bars and restaurants in this area tend to be trendier places.
