Pastor Tim was great and we love our church!

Mississippi Dunes is a beautiful place to have a reception. The service and food were wonderful and they were very accommodating. My only grip is that it was a record high day in October (85 degrees) and it was very hot and uncomfortable inside. When we asked if they could make it cooler, the staff said that the air conditioner was on high and at the coolest it could go. We asked what they do in July and was told it was that hot every weekend. We had about 200 guests and I could not imagine having the 250 they say is max capacity.

My recommendation if you have guests staying in Cottage Grove is to reserve your block of rooms early and ask your out of town guests to book early. The hotel was booked three weeks prior to our wedding, as the hotel said it would be. Our early planning really came in handy.

Only a handfull of our guests stayed at the Super 8.
