MAEGHAN AND ALAN'S WEDDING

"Our wedding was really absolute perfection. Nothing went wrong that day , our vendors were there for us every step of the way. Before I had ever been to Maine I knew as a little girl I wanted to get married on the rocky coast of Maine. It's just absolutely gorgeous. Most of our family were from away and just loved walking the property of the church and touring the area on their days "off." A year later and we still have so many people talking about how beautiful our hometown of Kennebunk is and how wonderful our wedding was!"

"We hired a bagpiper for before and after our ceremony. He played as guests arrived and up till the organist in the church began the procession. Then as we crossed the threshold of the church , as man and wife, he bagan to play again. I always wanted a bagpiper and it was actually hard to come by here in Maine!"

"Sadly, she has retired but our cake was to die for! Chocolate cake with raspberry perserves and chocolate ganache filing and a Kahlua buttercream frosting. The middle layer was scrolled to look like the beading on my bodice and a ribbon affect. She matched it perfectly and only saw a picture of my dress once! 4 tier square cake with peonies on top!"

The day of there were many things that weren't exactly how I wanted them and I was disappointed in how they turned out. Of course at that point it was too late and I didn't care but I thought after hours of meetings she would have done better."

"I was put off at first when I entered the salon but once I got back there and was treated wonderfully I never went to another salon! I found my dress and really enjoyed going to the salon for fittings etc afterwards. It was sad picking up my dress days before the wedding after seeing the staff for 6 months!"

"Lowest rates in Kennebunk but still a little too high. The biggest disappointment was that my guests did not receive housekeeping service at ALL during their 4 day stay :("
