This is our favorite restaurant in Little Italy. It's more upscale than the traditional family-style Italian restaurants in the neighborhood, and it's excellent! Other good Little Italy restaurants include Della Notte, La Tavola, and Sabatino's (open late).

Baltimore Cupcake Company

Bo Brooks Restaurant

Some people say Bo Brooks has the best steamed crabs in Baltimore. It definitely has a great location overlooking the water. Other people say you should go to Obrycki's for your crabs. Or Captain James' Landing. Or about two dozen other places, depending on who you ask.

Cheesecake Factory

There are tons of restaurants at the Inner Harbor. Others include Legal Seafood and Five Guys' Famous Burgers and Fries.

Faidley's Seafood in Lexington Market

It's not the most glamorous location, but if you love seafood, you won't miss it! Faidley's has the best crabcakes and "coddies" (codfish cakes) you will ever taste. The coddies at Faidley's have made more than one appearance on the HBO show The Wire. While you're at Lexington Market, also make sure to stop at Berger's Bakery. Berger's Bakery carries the delicious Berger's cookies that are like little cakes covered in fudge frosting. Actually, they're more frosting than cookie, and a staple of any Baltimorean's diet.

Holy Frijoles

A fun Mexican restaurant in Hamden, an up-and-coming Baltimore neighborhood near the Johns Hopkins campus.

Little Havana

Cuban food and mojitos on an outdoor deck overlooking the water.

Mama's on the Half Shell

This is our favorite seafood restaurant in Canton, a fun neighborhood not far from Fell's Point. Try the steamed peel-and-eat shrimp with Old Bay seasoning.

Nacho Mama's

Nacho Mama's is the place to go for a good time in Canton. Terrific quesadillas and margaritas served in hubcaps. Yes, hubcaps.

Papermoon Diner

A great eclectic diner near the Johns Hopkins campus.

Pete's Grill

The best breakfast anywhere. Also great burgers. (P.S. Olympic swimmer and Baltimorean Michael Phelps has breakfast here before training). Seating is only at one counter, so come ready to wait. Also make sure to check out Normal's (around the corner) for great used books and records.

Sip & Bite Restaurant

Some Baltimore folks say this little diner has the best crabcakes in Baltimore.

Vaccaro's Little Italy

Little Italy's (and Baltimore's) best and most famous spot for desserts. The portions are huge and the quality is excellent. Try our favorite dessert, the Colosseo.

Ze Mean Bean Cafe

A great choice for brunch or coffee in Fell's Point.

Fort McHenry National Monument

Visit the birthplace of the National anthem. The valiant defense of the fort by 1,000 dedicated Americans during the Battle of Baltimore, September 13-14, 1814, inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner.” It's also a good spot for a pre-wedding jog, with terrific views of the harbor and the city.

Oriole Park At Camden Yards

Great news - the Orioles are in town the weekend of our wedding (playing the White Sox). There are games Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night (7:05 p.m.), and Sunday afternoon (1:35 p.m.). Check out one of the best baseball stadiums around.
