LAUREN AND DAN'S WEDDING

"Our wedding was beautiful and went smoothly for the most part. We were able to keep the costs down by renting the civic center and bringing in a caterer and being creative with the decorations, as opposed to a venue where you have to work w/ a certain caterer and stick to certain rules about the appearance of the venue. I also chose to go w/ a more expensive cake but have a smaller one and use several sheet cakes. This was I could still have the cake look exactly how I wanted w/out spending too much. We also used the bridemaid bouquets to decorate the tables at the Civic Center."

"This is a caterer out of Wichita and they did a great job. We were able to have a buffet, juice and pop, and a chocolate fountain for a reasonable $$. There is also a tasting session available which I would reccommend prior to choosing your menu; we were able to try a bunch of foods and meet the owner and staff."

"Edye was very professional and our photos turned out great. She is a very organized person so everything went smoothly and the photos we took after the wedding went quickly & efficiently. We were able to purchase a CD w/ the proofs also which was an advanage and I would reccommend that everyone do this, becuase it saves a lot of money in the long run. She has a website, I think it's called WrightFocus Photography."

"We loved having the reception here b/c we were able to bring in our own caterer, the $$ to rent the CC wasn't unreasonable, and there was an area in the back that was very convenient to put the maragarita machines & kegs."

"We did not have good luck w/ this hotel; they lost our reservation for the night of the wedding so we ddin't have a room (luckily one the groomsmen gave up his room for us!) and many of the other guests' rooms were not ready at check-in or were dirty upon arrival. The only good thing that came about was that we got our $$ back for the room but not untl I filed a complaint. The hotel looks nice but I wouldn't reccommend b/c of all the problems we had."
