September, 2009 in Effingham"Our wedding was "AWESOME" we wrote our own vows, so at the appropriate time we read those to one another and then Jeff done the ceremony and we said our I do's to one another. The rain poured the entire time the ceremony was happening but then there was a full rainbow at the end that we got a picture of.Everyone that was there has told us how beautiful and elegant the wedding was. I will always remember the look on my husbands face when he seen me walking down the isle."

"This is a bed breakfast that is about an hours drive from here it is so beautiful and peaceful. It is 175.00 per night the cost includes Supper and breakfast you tell them prior to going for the stay what you want to for both of those meals. They ask for any allergies that you have as far as food. They don't bother you once you get there they take you to the cabin personally and then once they show you how to operate the lights and the TV they leave you alone for the rest of the time you pay them on the second day your there for the nights that you stay. This place is absolutely beautiful you wouldn't know that it is in Illinois. Van and Sharon Boatman are the owners of this very beautiful place and they are the sweetest of people you would ever hope to meet. We plan on returning for our anniversary."

"She is a wonderful person she is very affordable and travels all over. She came to my wedding early started taking pictures with her brother who helps her to pose the people in the pictures. Done all the pictures she could before hand. Finished immediately after the wedding was over she staid at the reception until after 7 taking pictures of us and family members and then she left. She does outstanding work on pictures."

"This is a small shop here in Effingham it is located at 301 West Wabash Effingham IL 62401 their phone number is 217-342-2110 she does the entire wedding party. The tuxes are Jim's formal wear tuxes she also does proms as well. Very nice lady that owns the shop they helped me find the wedding gown i loved and wanted for a very affordable price."

"Jeff Michael's preformed our wedding ceremony. Since we attend church there it was without charge to use the church. No one had a problem finding it and it has some very pretty landscaping to do pictures around."

"This is a great place to do a small wedding reception i don't think that it would hold more than 170 people tops. The lady who takes care of the building is very sweet. I believe that you have to be a resident of Beecher City to be able to rent the building. IT was 200.00 total you pay 100.00 deposit to hold the date then the other 100.00 2 weeks prior to the wedding. You get a 100.00 back once you clean everything and turn the keys back in. We were allowed to use their walk in cooler as well."
