"We had a perfect day! We had put a lot of time and energy into finding just the right vendors and it REALLY paid off. We had absolutely no complaints about anything. The wedding mapper was a really big help, it made things a lot easier for our guests. As soon as we have some wedding photos available, we will add some to this site. Have fun planning!"

Question:
Hi Jennifer!
Your wedding looked beautiful! I loved your flowers. I am considering Trigg for our reception. How did you like the venue? I am sure you looked at other places like the Christy, etc.
Thanks for your time!
Kathy
Response from the couple:
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for the compliment. The Trigg was more than we ever expected! We had to try and find a low cost venue for the reception and the Trigg seemed to have the most bang for the buck. But, we were so surprised at how great of a job they did! The food was incredible, the place looked very romantic with the lighting and decor, the staff was very attentive and friendly and we had so much fun. We got more than we dreamed of, I highly recommend them. We still have frineds and family that tell us that the food at our wedding was the best.
Also, Dierberg's did our flowers and I was very pleased with them too. Ask for Rosie if you use them.
Please let me know if you have any other questions and have fun planning!
Jennifer
Question:
Sorry that I am emailing you again, but we went to look at Trigg and we loved it! I loved the huge dance floor and bar! What more do you need? I wanted to ask you...did you have Tawnya Camden (the house DJ) for your wedding. I actually already had a DJ reserved, but then I found out that a DJ comes with their package. I looked at her website and was a little skeptical about some of her photos!
Thank you for your advice and your time!
Kathy
Response from the couple:
Hi Kathy,
THe house DJ was not available on our day and we went with someone else, named Jeff Dixson. He did a decent job, but I had wished that we could have had Tawnya. We only used half the hall and she did the wedding next to ours. We peeked in and they seemed to be having a great time. Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have.
Have you picked out a bakery yet for your cake.
Jennifer
Response:
To be honest, I am a little concerned about using Tawnya. Have you seen her web site? If you look at her photos, she is wearing tall hooker boots and is dancing with a Grandpa! I know a good DJ so I will probably just ask him to ease my mind.
No bakery or flowers yet! I would love any suggestions! Where did you get your photos too?
Thanks for everything! I feel like I know you :)
Response from the couple:
I am not able to access her website right now, they must be working on it. Darn! It sounds humorous.
We couldn't believe the cost of cakes! We ended up using Walmart and I was pleasantly surprised! They did a fantastic job and it was a third of the cost(our cake cost $143.00 and there is a picture of it on wedding mapper). The only cost is that you or someone you know has to pick it up and set it up your reception hall.
We used Dierbergs(ask for Rosie) for the florist, my flowers were my favorite thing about the wedding! They were better than I expected.
We used Trotter Photo as our photographer and they did a good job. We picked an $1800.00 package, which if I did it all over again I would have picked a smaller package. You can buy a CD of all the negatives for $299.00 and then you can always get more photos made later on down the road. It would have saved us a lot of money if I had realized that beforehand.
I had so much fun planning our wedding and I love to share the experience, so feel free to ask anything. I love to be of help.
Jennifer
