The Ihilani was amazing. They upgraded us to a suite and treated us like royalty, sending us wine and a fruit/cheese plate and chocolate covered strawberries for our wedding night. We were so impressed with how helpful and wonderful they were. Plus, the rooms are HUGE and the resort is just gorgeous!

At Pearl Harbor, you can visit the USS Arizona memorial, which honors the soldiers killed in the 1941 attack. Admission is free, but get there early and expect long lines. You'll get to see a short movie, then take a ferry ride out to the memorial.

This is a great place for families. You can feed dolphins, turtles and get up close to so many different kinds of animals. Also, this is the ONLY place in the world where you can see a WHALPHIN - cross betweeen a whale and a dolphin! The penguin shows are fun too. Cost: $29 adults; $19 children.

This old volcano crater is home to so many tropical fish that it's become a snorkler's delight. You can feed the fish and even touch them. But beware, this place has become very popular with tourists.

The island's new water park is great for families. If you are staying at Ihilani, this is very close by. This is a really fun place for kids. But it's also fun for adults, like if you go in a big group! Prices are $35 for adults, $25 for kids.

We went to Paradise Cove with our guests two nights before the wedding. Our guests loved it! Being a local I had not been a commercial luau before, and I loved it too! It was a good time. It's also right down the street from the Ihilani, so it was very convenient.
